If the recipient is not around, can the item be redirected to another address?

For On-demand Delivery:

The vendor will do their best to redirect the item to the new address, however, a redirection of address may not always be possible to happen on the same day as the delivery routes have been pre-arranged by the vendors and a change of direction may cause all following deliveries to go through a huge delay.

If the vendor is unable to redeliver on the same day, redelivery will happen on the following day.

A redirection/redelivery fee will apply and charged by the vendor.

For Islandwide Courier Delivery:

It is only possible to redirect the item via courier delivery to a new shipping address if the item has returned by the courier company to the vendor.

Non-deliverable items are usually returned to vendor after the 7th day of the item being abandoned at the courier office (if the recipient did not collect the parcel(s)).

If a redelivery needs to be attempted, additional courier fee will need to be borne by the sender. A delivery reattempt will only happen after payment has been made. If the item is still in the possession of the post office, they will not be able to redirect to a new address.
